The new 20- something girl on the Block!

Ladies & Gentlemen it is my honor to present youthe new girl in the 20-something world!
My girl Jessy just turned 20 today!
I remember on Monday when we had a lil'chat on
the BBM.
Girl was hollering and almost crying bout the fact
that she was gonna turn 20!
I got a flashback just at that moment!
I remember just the week before I turned 20...
I was praying so hard for God to slow the week down!
Didn't want to turn 20, cause as soon as you cross
the 20-line...your life is over! (so I taught!)
I was like "hell..I'm going down to 30!!" "I don't wanna
turn 30!"
Unfortunately for me...the week went super fast!
(I don't think God was paying attention to my prayer!)
All of a sudden
it was the day BEFORE my bday!!
And after that...I turned 20!
Looking back now, I'm all cracked up!
The teen-years are over...and 'somewhere
deep down, I'm happy they are.
I realized that life begins at 20!
Yes, in this period of your life...you wanna do all kinds of stuff.
I know friends may com and go, relationships may start and end,
shoes will be bought, wrong clothes will be returned,
patience and faith will get tested...
But I k now that all my 20-something girls will
be here to laugh with me, cry with me,
get mad at me, shop with me and most important
ENJOY BEING 20 WITH ME!
So to all my 20-something girls out there...cheer up,
we ain't old....we're just getting STARTED!
