New York Fashion Week is here!
Before the runways at New York’s Lincoln Center overflew with designer’s and their Fall 2011 collections, The Heart Truth held their annual celeb-filled fashion show on last Thursday, to raise awareness for heart disease - the number one killer of American women.
In 2002 the organization founded “The Red Dress” as a national symbol for women and heart disease awareness to deliver an urgent wake-up call to women and to help the cause.
Now 22 celebrities hit the runway in gorgeous gowns. See some of my favorite ladies who strutted their stuff:

Taraji P. Henson’s sequined Naeem Khan gown was fire!
Patti LaBelle lip-synched her song “New Attitude” in a Zang Toi creation.
Estelle hit a high note in a dramatic Zac Posen design.
Regina King was sassy in a short Tracy Reese frock.
Reese will show her Fall 2011 collection today on Valentine’s Day!
Raven Symone played up her figure in a curve-hugging Tadashi Shoji dress
A very pregnant Laila Ali strutted in maternity design from A Pea in the Pod.
The boxing champ walked to “I’m Gonna Knock You Out.” Cute!
Kimora Lee Simmons returned to her modeling roots and
walked in one of her own designs.
For her first time walking in the show, Eve wore a floor-length mermaid gown designed
by David Meister, who has dressed her in the past
These woman looked Fabulous!
Quote of the night: To be honest...SOME of these ladies "OWNED" the runway!
