Throwback Thursday
Throwback Thursday: Fish & Fashion
11:39 PM
Who ever
said you can’t mix fashion with food… OBVIOUSLY didn’t know what the hell they
were talking about!
A few
months ago some of my girls and I hit up “The Harbour Club” in Rotterdam
to
support the Dutch based African label “Lady Africa”, who was amongst other
fashion brands during
the Fish & Fashion event.
For some of
you out there
who don’t know what
Lady Africa is, I’m going to
break it down
for ya’ll…
Lady Africa is an African label based in
All the
wonderful designs and colours are all gathered on their FABULOUS web shop.
I’m talking
about bags, dresses, jewellery and the list go’s on and on
(and on top of that
they even have some goody good stuff for the men!)
Some of these beautiful
pieces have also been spotted on celebrities like Alicia Keys!
Anyways, I got
an invitation to come to their first event.
The event was held at one of Holland ’s most exclusive restaurants.
And ya’ll
know me.. I just can not say ”NO” to fashion combined with FOOD!
So I called
on some of my girls & we hit Rotterdam
to have a good time.
Thank
heavens the weather was on point,
so there was no need to cover up on too much
clothes.
I had found
myself looking on point in a Forever 21 black dress paired
with some hot red wedges and
not to forget the CHANEL bag!.
And to add a little bit of drama to it, I finished
the look with a BIG black floppy hat!
The event
was FANTASTIC, the food was AMAZING & the models were GORGEOUS!
For more
info on Lady Africa, make sure to visit their website & get fashionable
with all
these colorful pieces while summer is still here!
Quote of
the night: Thank you to everyone over at “The Harbour Club” Rotterdam for this wonderful event paired
with FASHION & FOOD!
And off course not to forget Miss "Lady Africa" herself Irene Hin!
