Cosmo Dinner: The Birthday Edition!
8:12 PM
Is it just me or does it feel like December is almost over?
Life can be so crazy sometimes and full of unexpected
events, that you have to be prepared for the worst. Unfortunately, the world
has lost one of my favorite actors, who passed away in a car accident and a
major African icon this past week.
It makes you kind of wanting to live life to the max and
leave a mark on this world…
I was blessed to celebrate my 24th birthday back
on November 8th, but because I was in Paris for a business meeting
AND getting MY LIFE (while burning up my credit card at Galeries Lafayette),
I didn’t
have the opportunity to celebrate it with some friends…
And therefore came the very first Cosmo Dinner!
The Cosmo Dinners are dinners (duh!), where people from
different (professional) backgrounds will be able to meet up and enjoy the
finest food in the country alongside some live entertainment.
The reason for this? ... Cosmos & Lipstick is not just a
brand, it’s a lifestyle!
YOU BETTER GET IT BOO BOO!
On November 29th, I took the opportunity to hold
a “try out” dinner, in honor of my birthday and the 6-month anniversary of
Cosmos & Lipstick, at Umami in The Hague and enjoy a fabulous fusion of
Japanese and French cuisine! The food was amazing and the service was GREAT,
HUNTY!!!
Dressed up in an ALL BLACK LBD (by JuicyAssWoman, feathered bag &
I was ready
to kick back AND enjoy the fun.
The FABULOUS setting of the restaurant had enough SPICE to
give my guest a little bit of
LUXURY during these cold autumn nights, and not
to forget those delicious
welcome drinks who had a girl (respectively) twerking
for a Birkin!
And what would a birthday dinner be without some
CAKE, CAKE,
CAKE?
NOTHING!
The drama that went down hours prior to the dinner… honey,
urgh I. Just. Can. NOT.
But, a diva ALWAYS has to make sure that everything is
covered to the T.
At the end of the day
the cute cake that was made by ILoveKDC,
was on time AND had my guests acting
all crazy!!
*snaps 3 times* IT WAS GOOD!
Of course a girl always has to have her “special man” cut
the cake,
and therefore I had not 1, but 2 DIVOS helping me cutting it up.
(Because I got it like that!)

Looking back at the evening, I enjoyed every minute of it
and can’t wait to do it again!
I have SO MUCH LOVE for everybody that came out; it was a
night full of stylish and fierce friends!
And for the ones who couldn’t make it… don’t worry there
will be more Cosmo Dinners coming up during 2014… I have A LOT MORE to offer…
so make sure you’re ready for it HUNTY!
